Learn to share, the Wii U way

Throughout Nintendo’s E3 showcase, while demoing their newest family member, the Wii U, many reporters noticed that none of the video seemed to show more than one controller being used at a time. Turns out there was a good reason for that.

In an interview with News.com.au, the creator of Mario himself, Shigeru Miyamoto, has confirmed that the Wii U will only support one of the systems unique controllers.

So for now it seems additional players will have to make due with their old, crappy Wii-motes while some grubby-handed jerk hogs the pretty new one, leading to pouting, accusations of cheating because one guy has an unfair advantage cause the screen shows him stuff no one else can see and, eventually, slapfights.

So play nice, because if you can’t share it, I’ll take it away and you’ll all have to use Wii-motes.
